I walked along a wooded path
Birches, Pines, and Oak cradled me
Under their herbaceous canopy
Kneeling to take in the coolness of the earth
I felt the entire planet moving in my palm
Felt you in your home
Your heart beating in time to the song of the stars
Breezes blew across my face
Heavens rocking in place
Stretching spirit into beautiful void
Saw children splashing in my seas
Heard the voices of ancient trees
Looked upon a woman weeping in the street
Smiled in sage's understanding
Worked with fisherman at their landings
For you I saved the tear that fell from my eye that day
Placed it deep in the soil
Ans watched it blossom to a rose's coil
Slept there in its petals
And awoke in your embrace
Glimpsed your smiling face
Kissed your sweet lips
Then continued walking my way
But in your arms I'll always lay.
