Insuing Darkness.
Hunted by the ravenous hounds of night,
Racing their jagged teeth.
Adrenaline screams in my ears.
Sweat beaded brow,
Stinging my eyes.
Heart pumping in time to the footfalls.
Warm breath fogged forth into the cool night air.
Sanctuary at last,
Amongst the vast heavens in her eyes.
